The Hyosung MS3-250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Hyosung between 2006 and 2014. Max torque was 16.37 ft/lbs (22.2 Nm) @ 6900 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 24.41 HP (18.2 KW) @ 8500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 73.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the centrifugal automatic clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-13 front tire and a 140/60-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. 2 pistons caliper in the front and a single disc. 2 pistons calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic ffork while the rear was equipped with a twin shock absorber. The MS3-250 was fitted with a 2.08 Gallon (7.87 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 341.06 pounds (154.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.09 inches (1501 mm) long.
2010 Hyosung MS3-250[edit | edit source]
The 2010 MY Hyosung MS3-250 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 25 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque. Standard features include a dual seat with lumbar support for both the rider and the passenger, a small, adjustable windshield, an extended front fairing for better protection against the elements, dual front disc brakes, an under-seat storage compartment, and a digital LCD dash-board.
