The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.9 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the aptc(tm) slipper clutch, hydraulically actuated.

2017 Husqvarna FS 450[edit | edit source]
My FS 450, comes equipped with a 450cc engine, which is quite large for a 4-stroke motor. Its seat measures 36.5 inches off the ground, a height that's only slightly higher than the norm and will accommodate riders of many sizes.
