The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 78.0mm bore x 72.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 360.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 165/70-10 front tire and a 225/40-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave disc in the front and a single disc. wave disc in the rear. The front suspension was a independent double a-arm while the rear was equipped with a twin shocks. The G400i SM was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank.
