The Ducati ST3 S ABS was a v2, four-stroke sport touring motorcycle produced between 2004 and 2007. Max torque was 72.36 ft/lbs (98.1 Nm) @ 10000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 103.39 HP (77.1 KW) @ 8750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.3:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The 2004 MY Ducati ST3 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 102 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque.

In addition, it boasts standard fittings such as a dual seat with passenger grab rails, Marchessini three-spoked, lightweight wheels, dual headlights, a full-fairing with an adjustable windscreen, a steel trellis frame, an analogue and digital instrumentation panel, a Showa upside-down front fork coupled to a Sachs rear monoshock, Brembo brakes and can be equipped with accessories such as side panniers, for even longer hauls.
