The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 77.0mm bore x 53.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 120/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a inverted forks while the rear was equipped with a preload adjustable monoshock. The RC3 was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (19.98 Liters) fuel tank.
