2013 Big Bear Choppers Athena Chopper EFI[edit | edit source]
When it comes to stretched production choppers, it is hard to top the Big Bear Choppers Athena Chopper EFI. The most noticeable design features are the insudtrial hot rod drilled holes in the stretched frame, the Devil's Tail swingarm with a matching rear fender, or the cast aluminum wheels. In addition, this machine, as all from the BBC, can be purchased for almost half it's price as unassembled.
At its heart lies a 1819cc, BBC-S&S V111 EFI Evolution powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and can produce 116 horsepower and 167 Nm of torque. There isn't virtually any difference, performance-wise, between the EFI model and the Carb one, unless changes in temperature and atmospheric conditions occur, the closed-loop EFI being able to maintain the same level of performance. This model is more suited for riders who want to enjoy winding mountain roads.
