The Beta ALP240 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Beta between 1990 and 1991. It could reach a top speed of 53 mph (85 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 11.8 HP (8.8 KW) @ 5800 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.8mm bore x 57.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 239.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a membrane.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-21 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The ALP240 was fitted with a 1.45 Gallon (5.50 Liters) fuel tank.
