The Gilera Runner 50 Black Soul was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Gilera between 2005 and 2017. Max torque was 3.47 ft/lbs (4.7 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.43 HP (3.3 KW) @ 7250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 40.0mm bore x 39.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.3 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic with ø 220 mm stainless steel disc in the front and a single disc. hydraulic with ø 175 mm stainless steel disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down telehydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic single damper, co-axial helicoidal spring. The Runner 50 Black Soul was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 233.69 pounds (106.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.
