The MZ 125 SX was a single cylinder, four-stroke enduro / offroad motorcycle produced between 2001 and 2009. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Max torque was 8.63 ft/lbs (11.7 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 14.48 HP (10.8 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

A 60.0mm bore x 44.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a single shock. The 125 SX was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 281.09 pounds (127.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.

2002 MZ 125 SX

The 2002 MY MZ 125 SX is a machine designed by the German engineers for novice off-road enthusiasts, as well as more experienced one that want a more agile machine. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant paired to a four-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 15 horsepower and 11 Nm of torque.

Standard features include laced wheels, a high-end suspension package, composed of a Marzocchi upside-down fork and a WP adjustable monoshock in the rear, a braking system with front and rear disc brakes and a large, 21" front wheel.
