The Laverda 750 S was a twin, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1970 and 1999. It could reach a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). Max torque was 55.32 ft/lbs (75.0 Nm) @ 7200 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 80.33 HP (59.9 KW) @ 9200 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 74.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 748.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The 750 S was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 407.86 pounds (185.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.13 inches (1375 mm) long.

It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 170/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Paioli racing inverted fork adjustable preload, rebound & compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Paioli monoshock adjustable spring preload, rebound & compression damping. The 750 S was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 407.86 pounds (185.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

The 1971 MY Laverda 750 S sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 744cc, parallel twin cylinder powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce 60 horsepower at 6900 rpm. It was inspired from the American cafe racers, and had a minimalist overall design, with a single seat and narrow fenders. In addition, it comes standard with a Marzocchi telescopic fork, a swinging arm rear suspension with dual adjustable shocks, and a braking system formed by a single 230 mm drum in the front and a single 200 mm drum in the rear.
