The engine was a oil & air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.3:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/90-16 front tire and a 150/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. 2 pistons caliper in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a swing arm with hydraulic double shock absorber (preload adjustable).
