The Puch 250 SGS was a single cylinder, two-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 1953 and 1970. It could reach a top speed of 71 mph (115 km/h). Max torque was 12.39 ft/lbs (16.8 Nm) @ 3300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 13.95 HP (10.4 KW) @ 5800 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 45.0mm bore x 78.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 6.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-16 front tire and a 3.50-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a swingarm. The 250 SGS was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 330.69 pounds (150.0 Kg).
