The NSU 501 TS was a single cylinder, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1930 and 1936. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 13.68 HP (10.2 KW) @ 4350 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 99.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 494.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 3-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50-26 front tire and a 4-27 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
