The Harley-Davidson XR1000 was a v2, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Harley-Davidson in 1983. It could reach a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 65.58 HP (48.9 KW) @ 5600 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 4-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XR1000 was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank.
