The Ducati Multistrada 1260 was a v2, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 2018 and 2019. Max torque was 95.52 ft/lbs (129.5 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 154.62 HP (115.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 106.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1262.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 13.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the light action, wet, multiplate slipper clutch with hydraulic control. self-servo action on drive, slipper action on over-run.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 190/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. radially mounted. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm fully adjustable usd forks. while the rear was equiped with a fully adjustable sachs unit. remote spring preload adjustment. aluminum single-sided swingarm. The Multistrada 1260 was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 460.77 pounds (209.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.
