2013 Big Bear Choppers Merc Softail[edit | edit source]
The Big Bear Choppers Merc Softail has been designed as a more comfortable version of the Merc Rigid model, for riders who want the aggressive design of the Merc, but still want a rear suspension for a more comfortable stroll. The defining features of this chopper are the long reaching springer front end, the radius dual downtube frame, a bold 48 degree neck rake, and wire-spoked wheels.
In the tech/engine department, it shares its engine with the Rigid version, and sports a 1819cc, BBC-S&S V111 Carb Evolution powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 116 horsepower and 156 Nm of torque.
