The Triumph Speed 94 was a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2016. Max torque was 81.87 ft/lbs (111.0 Nm) @ 7750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 135.98 HP (101.4 KW) @ 9400 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder. A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1050.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via twin 320mm floating discs in the front and a single 255mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 43mm upside down forks while the rear was equipped with a Showa monoshock. The Speed 94 was fitted with a 4.62 Gallon (17.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 423.29 pounds (192.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.
2016 Triumph Speed 94[edit | edit source]
With the Speed Triple's 20th anniversary, the Hinckley firm released a special version, the 2016 MY Speed 94. This model features the latest technology in the Speed Triple family, with the proven, 1050cc transverse three cylinder powerplant, and the revised chassis, encased in a bodywork to resemble, as much as possible, the first, 1994 Speed triple.
The model is available for purchase in Racing Yellow or Jet Black paint scheme, and it looks like this is your only chance to claw one.
