2008 Suzuki Boulevard C50SE[edit | edit source]
If you prefer to ride a middleweight cruiser but are also eyeing the awesome custom styling of the big bikes, the 2008 MY Boulevard C50SE is there to solve your dilemma. This bike packs together the reliability and road worthiness of the base C50 model, its classic styling elements while adding a heap of aftermarket parts to raise the bar.
You'll get exclusive paint schemes, plenty of chrome, traditional-looking wire wheels, saddlebags and a passenger backrest, a tall windshield and all the chrome accents you can dream of.
2010 Suzuki Boulevard C50SE[edit | edit source]
If you feel like you could use the convenience of C50T's touring amenities but would gladly skip the bling, the 2010 MY Boulevard C50SE might be the best choice. The bike retains the maneuverability and reassuring feel of the base middleweight model, as well as the saddlebags, passenger backrest and windshield of the touring version. However, they are not adorned with studs and none of the retro visual tricks, as Suzuki relies on the sober looks of black leather to impress.
On the tech side, the Boulevard C50SE is unchanged, so you're putting money on sheer functionality: you get decent storage capacity and improved comfort, with a minimal impact on the sober looks of the classic cruiser.
2012 Suzuki Boulevard C50SE[edit | edit source]
The 2012 MY Special Edition Boulevard C50SE boasts the same equipment as the Touring version, but the livery is less ostentatious. This means that the model drops the metal studs from the seats, passenger backrest and saddlebags, while the paint job is a sober, yet elegant all glassy black scheme. The white wall tires have been replaced by classic ones, and the overall look of the bike exudes a rather commanding attitude.
On the tech side nothing is changed from the base model: the 805cc v-twin is liquid-cooled, fuel injected and mated to the same 5-speed, shaft drive transmission. Suitable for the less experience rider, the 2012 MY Boulevard C50SE is an equally rewarding machine for seasoned motorcyclists, too.
