The Laverda 125 LZ Sport was a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Laverda between 1981 and 1982. Max torque was 11.8 ft/lbs (16.0 Nm) @ 7400 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 17.03 HP (12.7 KW) @ 7600 RPM.

It came with a 2,50-18 front tire and a 3,00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260 mm disc in the front and a 160 mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 32 mm Marzocchi telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual adjustable shocks. The wheelbase was 53.5 inches (1359 mm) long.

The 1981 MY Laverda LZ 125 Sport is a more performance-oriented entry level machine, which addresses the adventurous but, at the same time, novice and inexperienced rider with a taste for Italian-built machines. It sports a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder paired to a five-speed manual transmission, that produces 17 horsepower and 16 Nm of torque.
It comes standard with a fork-mounted fairing and small windscreen, a dual seat, a 32mm Marzocchi front fork and a single 260mm front disc brake, dual adjustable shocks in the rear and an 160mm drum brake, as well as a racing red paint scheme, which is sure to turn heads no matter where one decides to ride it.

The 1982 MY Laverda 125 LZ Sport has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, that can produce 17 horsepower and 16 Nm of torque. It also comes standard with a high-end suspension package, composed of a 32 mm Marzocchi fork and dual adjustable shocks in the rear, as well as a 260mm disc brake in the front and a rear 160mm drum.
This race-inspired machine addresses the younger and less-experienced among riders that have a more adventurous spirit, and want more out of their Italian, entry-level, two-wheeler.
