The Buell S3T Thunderbolt was a v2, four-stroke touring motorcycle produced between 1997 and 2002. It could reach a top speed of 129 mph (208 km/h). Max torque was 89.99 ft/lbs (122.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 98.83 HP (73.7 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.8mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1203.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via belt.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 170/60-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The S3T Thunderbolt was fitted with a 5.39 Gallon (20.40 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 465.18 pounds (211.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.0 inches (1397 mm) long.
