The Suzuki GT185 was an inline twin, two-stroke motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1973 and 1978. It could reach a top speed of 78 mph (126 km/h). Max torque was 15.2 ft/lbs (21.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM.[1] Claimed horsepower was 21 HP (15.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.[1]
Engine
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 49.0mm bore x 49.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 185.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis
It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks. The GT185 was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. 1973 - 1978 Suzuki GT 185
Suzuki introduced in 1973 the GT 185. This bike comes equipped with a twin cylinder, Ram Air cooling drum brakes front and rear and a combination electric starter/generator setup. In some markets the GT185 became the RG 185 and was sold with different trim.
