2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 LE US Edition
The US market got its fair share of Yamaha YZF-R1 exclusive bikes. The LE US Edition is based on the base 50th Anniversary model whose livery shares, but there's more than looks about this bike. Just like its Canadian sister, the US LE R1 is equipped with premium Ohlins suspensions tailor-made for this edition, and unlike the Anniversary model, it comes with golden Marchesini wheels. All the upgrades in the base model are present, as well.
2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 LE US Edition
For 2010, Yamaha has prepared a sizzling hot Limited Edition of the YZF-R1, a bike whose livery is inspired from Valentino Rossi's MotoGP winning bike. The color scheme retains the classic white/blue design, complete with the FIAT logo and 46 racing number in neon yellow for an authentic look.
On the tech side, the Limited Edition bike is identical to the base model, packing the same racing-derived vibe with a more streetable approach and everyday rideability.
