Overview
Aprilia SP 50 Factory
"The" Sport Scooter... With a steel frame for unmatched maneuverability, SR 50 R Factory has an aggressive and aerodynamic design that is inspired by that of the RSV4 winner of the 2013 Superbike World Championship (manufacturers) offering the highest level of technology and security features available on a scooter. Since its launch, its the scooter that the Aprilia Racing Team has used extensively at trials and races to get around quickly between pit and paddock. It is not uncommon to discover them while running in the city, to move with the greatest freedom.
POWERFUL ENGINE
The SR 50 Factory
is equipped with a 2-stroke liquid-cooled direct injection engine, that offers
the highest achievable performance in the category.
DESIGN AND
EQUIPMENT DERIVED FROM SBK
Graphics, finishes
and details are borrowed directly from the SBK World Champion RSV4, hence the
celebratory SBK Replica version. The SR Factory derives from racing also in its
equipment, offering a large and comprehensive digital dash, double headlight
with halogen lamps and electric blocks of motorcycle type. Safety is ensured by
the 13 " wheel and double disc braking system. Front fork and rear shock
absorber concepts also derive from racing, granting the SR 50 Factory with
highest technological package available. Transponder technology alarm is also
standard.
RESPONSIVE ENGINE
The SR 50 was the first to have a 13 wheel, the first with a liquid-cooled
engine, the first with a double disc braking system, the first with a direct
injection engine. Today the SR 50 offers two engines: a reliable 2 stroke engine
with carburetor, particularly responsive and sensitive to your commands. A
second generation Ditech engine that offers smooth power output and even lower
power consumption.
WINNING DESIGN AND STANDARD EQUIPMENT Finish and details borrowed from maxi bikes (mirrors, integrated footrests, brake pumps in view), not to mention superior equipment such as large and comprehensive digital dashboard and twin halogen headlights, motorcycle-type electric blocks, always with particular focus on safety, equipping the SR 50 with double disc brakes, top performance shock absorbers and high technology content in every component.
