The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 75.0mm bore x 65.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 287.2 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 21/7-10 front tire and a 22/10-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. hydraulic in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a double a-arm and adjustable shocks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm and adjustable shocks. The Vector ST300 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 496.04 pounds (225.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 46.97 inches (1193 mm) long.
