The Yamaha TZR125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1987 and 1991. Claimed horsepower was 30.04 HP (22.4 KW) @ 10200 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis
It came with a 90/90-16 front tire and a 100/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single Disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Fork while the rear was equipped with a Monocross.
1987 - 1993 Yamaha TZR 125
The TZR 125 in the year 1987 however the bike manufacturing phase ended in the year 1992. Being distinguished with a singularly made squared headlight at the frontal portion of the fairing; with the clip-on(s) being placed on the top of the yoke; the bike had singular seat with conventionally made forks. Afterwards, the TZR could be identified through its three spoke Magnesium-made Alloy Wheel(s) along with a rear disc braking.
