The NSU Prima D was a single cylinder, two-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 1956 and 1960. It could reach a top speed of 50 mph (80 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 6.03 HP (4.5 KW) @ 5200 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 146.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 6.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive

The bike has a 3-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 4-8 front tire and a 4-8 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a swingarm. The Prima D was fitted with a 1.93 Gallon (7.30 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 271.17 pounds (123.0 Kg).
