Drive
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis
It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 3.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks, springs. The GT 250 X7 was fitted with a 3.30 UK Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The new engine is very compactabout 7.2 kg (16 Ibs) lighter than the previous model. It features Suzuki's Power Reed valve dual induction system which increases engine breathing for better response through the rev range.
