Engine
A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 598.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis
It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 110/100-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc in the front and a single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a monoshock.

The 1990 ATK 600 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 598cc, single cylinder engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission. This powerful offroad machine also comes standard with a single seat, a high-mounted exhaust, laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, a nickel-plated, steel frame, a front telescopic fork, a rear monoshock suspension, front and rear disc brakes, plus a large, 16-liter (4.4-gallon) fuel tank.
