The 2009 MY Honda CBF 1000 has standard fittings such as a 41mm telescopic front fork, an adjustable monoshock with a Pro-Link system as a rear suspension, dual headlights, a half-fairing with an adjustable windscreen, a steel frame, a dual seat with pillion grab handles, die-cast aluminium wheels and triple disc brakes with ABS.
Also, it can produce a claimed 102 horsepower and 97 Nm of torque from its four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 998cc, transverse four cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.

The 2008 Honda CBF1000 is serious business: a liter-class road beast which likes to go far and likes to be ridden hard. A great choice for a daily commuter and a very good basis for a sport-touring adventure, with accessory storage, the CBF1000 is a street bike which can go almost anywhere, anyhow.  Comfortable, thanks to the upright position, the 2008 CBF1000 retains all the racey heart of Honda's sport bikes.
The in-line 4 power plant and its 6-speed transmission have been tuned for a more rider-friendly character, bringing more joy from whatever road you decide to follow.
