The Yamaha MT-25 was a twin, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2016 and 2018. Max torque was 16.96 ft/lbs (23.0 Nm) @ 10000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 35.27 HP (26.3 KW) @ 12000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 60.0mm bore x 44.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc coil spring.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic disc in the front and a single disc. hydraulic disc, single piston in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a monocross. The MT-25 was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.33 inches (1380 mm) long.
2016 Yamaha MT-25[edit | edit source]
Yamaha has been launched in Indonezia the new MT-25. The new model from Yamaha comes with a different headlight, fairing aka air scoop on the side of the tank along with a different cowl at the rear which reminds of sports bikes from the Yamaha stable.
