Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Two stroke, single cylinder. The engine featured a 10.7:1 (ex valve closed), 8.9:1 (ex valve open) compression ratio.
Drive
Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.
Chassis
It came with a 100/90 -21 front tire and a 110/90 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 250 mm disc, 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single 240mm disc, 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Kayaba inverted cartridge, 18 step rebound, 20-step compression damping adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba link-type, 18-step rebound, 3-turn high, 16-step low speed compression damping, preload adjustable. Suzuki GB has released a limited-run enduro version of the RM250 two-stroke motocross motorcycle. The RM250 Paul Edmondson replica motorcycle was developed by its four-time world champion namesake, and adds lighting, a speedometer, side stand, an 18 SM Pro rear wheel rim and matching 21 front and a replica graphics kit. Power delivery has been altered with a DEP expansion chamber and a carburetor spacer to the motocross RM250 motorcycles. Only 50 motorcycles will be sold, and each will come with a voucher to get 50% off suspension setup at KAIS suspension. Talking about his replica machine, Paul Edmondson commented, I am pleased and honoured to be involved in the development of this special model. We all understand how important enduro is in the UK, and with this model we are able to offer a very competent bike that mirrors what Im racing this season.
Since joining the Maximum Solutions Suzuki squad, Fast Eddy has secured multiple wins throughout the season, while competing and finishing strongly in extreme events on the RM250 like the Erzberg Rodeo.
