The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 67.0mm bore x 65.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 229.5 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 3.00-21 front tire and a 4.60-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a inverted telescopic, 48mm upper, 37mm lower while the rear was equipped with a monoshock with preload adjustment. The TT250 was fitted with a 2.9 Gallon (10.98 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 309.09 pounds (140.2 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.0 inches (1397 mm) long.
