The '''[[Yamaha]] XJR 400''' was a Air Cooled, Four Stroke, Transverse Four Cylinder Touring [[motorcycle]] produced by [[Yamaha]] in 1993. Max [[torque]] was 24.34 ft/lbs (33.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed [[horsepower]] was 52.97 HP (39.5 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

The motorcycle is interesting, although not as popular as its main competitor from Honda the CB 400. I personally liked the (chiger) more, although I watched both these models when I sold my Chinese 125 cc curb and Suzuki Bandit 400.
