Engine
A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 398.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed, reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the Manual.
Chassis
It came with a 22x7-10 front tire and a 20x10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm. The wheelbase was 49.02 inches (1245 mm) long.
2006 Arctic Cat 400 DVX
The 2005 Arctic Cat 400 DXV is a sport quad with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 2WD uses a chain final transmission for the rear axle, which is loaded with wide tires from great traction. Not the best tool for those not acquainted to manual shifting, this ATV can deliver great performance and fun to the skilled operator.
The double A-arm suspension in the front complements the long wheel travel of the swingarm and grants safe and easy passage over uneven, rough ground, or obstacles in your way. Given the nature of the 2005 Arctic Cat 400 DXV's purpose, it does not come with a luggage rack, so for longer trips in the wilderness you'll have to do with what you can carry in a back pack.
2008 Arctic Cat 400 DVX
The 2007 Arctic Cat 400 DXV is a sport quad powered by a 398cc engine and with a top-notch 5-speed manual gearbox. The 2WD uses a chain final transmission for the rear axle, which is loaded with wide tires from great traction. The presence of a reverse gear increases the usability of this ATV in both racing and leisure conditions, making it easy to back off when you're on the wrong path.
