The DKW Block 500 was a twin, two-stroke standard produced by DKW in 1933. It could reach a top speed of 71 mph (115 km/h).
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 68.0mm bore x 68.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 493.9 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 4-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.5-26 front tire and a 3.5-26 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The Block 500 was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank.
