The Moto Guzzi California II was a Air cooled, four stroke, transverse V-twin cylinder, OHC, 2 valve per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Moto Guzzi in 1981. Max torque was 47.94 ft/lbs (65.0 Nm) @ 5750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 59.0 HP (44.0 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

A 87.9mm bore x 87.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 949.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/90 V18 front tire and a 120/90 V18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual Discs in the front and a Single Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual Koni shocks 5-way preload.
1981 - 1987 Moto Guzzi California II[edit | edit source]
Launch of the second generation: The California II is the first numbered. The crankshaft, gearbox and housing are adapted from the Le Mans III and cylinder heads and frame geometry are modified.
