1928 - 1931 Indian Scout 101[edit | edit source]
The Scout 101 was manufactured between 1928 and 1931 as a replacement to the Scout 37. The American brand upgraded its engine to an air-cooled, four-stroke, 740cc, V-Twin powerhouse, and also received a new frame with more fork rake, a longer wheelbase and a lower seat height.
Also, it boasted a parallelogram front fork suspension, a sprung seat in the rear, and was a favorite model among racers and hill-climbers of the time.
