The Husqvarna TXC 450 was a liquid cooled, four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Husqvarna between 2008 and 2010.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 -17 front tire and a 150/60 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 320 mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 220 mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 50mm Marzocchi upside down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs porgressive monoshock. The TXC 450 was fitted with a 1.9 Gallon (7.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 229.06 pounds (103.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.8 inches (1595 mm) long.
2010 Husqvarna TXC 450[edit | edit source]
The 2010 MY Husqvarna TXC 450 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. It is a balanced off-road machine from the Swedish brand, boasting increased power than most of its siblings, without affecting its overall weight too much. In addition, a Kayaba front fork and a Sachs rear monoshock increase its cornering abilities and the range of off-road tracks it can successfully tackle.
