The Arctic Cat DVX 250 was a SOHC, 4 stroke ATV produced by Arctic Cat between 2006 and 2007.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 1 speed automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 21x7-10 front tire and a 20x11-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Swing Arm. The wheelbase was 45.98 inches (1168 mm) long.
2006 Arctic Cat DVX 250[edit | edit source]
Designed for more aggressive, sporty riding, the 2005 Arctic Cat 250 DXV is a quad for those who want to race across dunes and muddy trails alike, while going on the dirt track every now and then. Being engineered for a more dynamic riding style, the 2005 Arctic Cat 250 DXV comes with no luggage racks, so if you want to take it on a trip in the wild, you must rely on whatever you can carry in your backpack.
The chain-driver rear-axle gets power from an automatic transmission coupled to the 249cc engine. Hydraulic discs are in place to help slowing down and offer a predictable, firm stopping force. The generous ground clearance and independent front suspension ensure great passability over rough ground and obstacles.
2007 Arctic Cat DVX 250[edit | edit source]
Besides snowmobiles, Arctic Cat manufactures a wide range of sport and utility ATV's with engines from 50cc to 700cc. Excluding the 650 H1, Arctic cat does not manufacture their own engines, all the engines being supplied by Suzuki and by Lombardini. Arctic Cat ATV's feature four stroke engines and full independent suspension, excluding DVX youth and 250cc models, which are very proud of their solid rear axle.
