The Vespa LXV50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Vespa in 2009. Max torque was 2.58 ft/lbs (3.5 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.02 HP (3.0 KW) @ 8750 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 39.1mm bore x 41.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic dry centrifuge with damper buffers.
Chassis
It came with a 110/70-11 front tire and a 120/70-11 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a single arm with helical spring and dual effect hydraulic single shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a coil spring and dual effect single shock absorber. The bike weighed just 224.87 pounds (102.0 Kg).
