The BSA A65 Thunderbolt was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by BSA between 1970 and 1972. It could reach a top speed of 104 mph (168 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 75.0mm bore x 74.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 654.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
