The engine was a Liquid-cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse three cylinder. DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 12.0:1 [[compression ratio]].

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front [[tire]] and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320 mm Discs, 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 220 mm disc, 2 piston [[caliper]] in the rear. The front suspension was a  45 mm Upside down forks with dual rate springs and adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock with adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping. tapered bars, an all-new subframe and redesigned multi-spoke wheels. These

demand making it once again one of the best-selling bikes in the companys
