==Engine==
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinders,. The engine featured a 9.6:1 [[compression ratio]].  

==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70-18 front [[tire]] and a 190/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 310mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 276mm disc 1 piston [[caliper]] in the rear. The front suspension was a  43mm telescopic while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks, adjustment for preload. The CB1100X was fitted with a 15 Litres / 4.0 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 249 kg / 549 lbs. The wheelbase was 1650 mm / 65 in long.
