==Engine==
The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.5:1 [[compression ratio]].  

==Drive==
Power was moderated via the Multi-plate wet clutch.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 110/80 R18 front [[tire]] and a 140/70 -R18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 296mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 256mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a  41mm conventional fork while the rear was equipped with a Spring preload adjustable, Dual shocks. The CB1100EX was fitted with a 17.5.Litres / 4.6 gal fuel tank.
