The '''Ducati 749s''' was a v2, [[four-stroke]] sport [[motorcycle]] produced between 2003 and 2006. Max [[torque]] was 6.2 ft/lbs (8.4 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed [[horsepower]] was 112.11 HP (83.6 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

The engine was a [[liquid cooled]] v2, four-stroke. A 90.0mm [[bore]] x 58.8mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 748.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.3:1 [[compression ratio]]. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic [[valve]] control. 
 
==Drive==
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The [[final drive]] was via chain. Power was moderated via the dry multiplate with [[hydraulic]] control. 
 
==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70-zr17 front [[tire]] and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear.
