The engine was a Air cooled cooled 45° V-Twin, four stroke, pushrod actuated overhead valve. hydraulic self-adjusting lifters, 2 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.0:1 [[compression ratio]].

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70 ZR17, Pirelli Scorpion front [[tire]] and a 180/55 ZR17, Pirelli Scorpion rear tire.
